Want to lose weight fast? Let’s go on a crash diet and lose 5 pounds in one week. No, it is a bad idea. I tell you why. One of my friend went on a crash diet 15 days before her wedding day. And yes she managed to lose 8 pounds but on her wedding day she got fainted. There are thousands of cases like this. Today life become so fast and people want quick result in everything. They try shortcuts and don’t want to do hard work not even for their own body. Is it that difficult to understand that you can’t lose weight in one day? It is bad for your body: Crash diet has a drastic impact on your body. It is like that you are giving punishment to your body for the fats that it has been storing for so long. You starve your body and ultimately it become so weak that it suffers from serious issues like heart attack, headache, slow metabolism and even death.

You gain weight instead of losing it: When you go on a crash diet you may lose pounds for some days but later you regain them and that too double. Because during crash diet your body is not losing fats but it is actually losing water and carbohydrates. Once you start eating your normal diet you will regain the weight.

It has awful effect on your behavior  When you deprive your body of food then you will feel weak or irritable due to low energy. And sometime you just can’t stop yourself and gave up to food cravings also you endup eating more. Then you start feeling guilty for eating more and restrict your diet. These things can put you in depression.

You are abusing your body: Food is important for your body to survive well. And if you are not giving enough food to your body that means you are actually inserting it. Why punishing your body when actually you are the one who let it make fat. Please respect your body because ultimately this is the place where you have to live.
