No matter how dedicated runner you are, it is difficult to workout in scorching heat. You can still workout and stay cool by following below tips:
Don’t push yourself too much: Start at lower pace and don’t cover long distance. Give your body time to adjust to heat.
Wear light clothes: Wear light color moisture wicking clothes that won’t stick to your body. Avoid wearing black color.
Workout when temperature is cool: Workout either in early morning or evening to avoid heat.
Stay hydrated: It is very important to stay hydrated in the season of summer. It is not possible to carry 2, 3 bottles of water when running. So drink water before and after running.
Use sunscreen: Protect your skin from heat by applying a high SPF sunscreen lotion on your body and face.
