What to eat before workout?

Your body needs proper food to work smoothly. Many people have misconception that it is best to workout empty stomach. This is not true because your body needs fuel to work at its best. It does not mean that you have to eat heavy meals before working out. You must know what and how much to eat and what is the right time to eat. You can’t workout in a full stomach too. Here is the list of food that you should eat:



1.       Oatmeal: Oatmeal is a great source of energy and it is good for health too. You fill fuller after eating oats.


2.       Yogurt: Yogurt is light on your stomach. Add some nuts for more energy.


3.       Banana: Bananas are rich source of carbohydrates. You can eat 1 banana, 45 minutes before workout. It is enough to keep you going throughout your workout.


4.       Protein shake: A protein smoothie is great pre workout. It is simple to make and great source of energy. Just 10-20 g is enough to fuel up your body.




5.       Almond with honey and apple: Mix apple, honey and almond and your snack is ready. You will love it.
